Well I’ve spent the last 3 days in bed with a lovely cold and sore throat which has somewhat stifled my productivity. However – luckily for me – my head wasn’t affected by the icky cold so I was able to read… a lot.
One of the books I polished off was “Hello – Michael Hill Jeweller: Fighting to Win” and I must say it was very good. Just the sort of book I needed as once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. He’s a smart guy (obviously) and I enjoyed what he had to say about personal and business success.
60 Minutes also did a quick interview with him the other day that you can watch here. You’ll notice he shares the view that now is a time full of opportunity and possibilities… despite what the powers that be might want you to think.
He has a new book out in bookstores now so I’ll have to check it out. The one above was published in 1994 but it still has valuable insights… plus includes his Steps to a Sale that he alludes to in the 60 Minutes interview.
