How to have $1 million in sales

The maths of reaching your million dollar sales goals is quite easy and closer to your grasp than you probably realise. All you need to do is create a loyal following.

Some people call this a tribe (herd, followers, etc)... basically a bunch of people that are interested in what you have to say. But this is where most people get overwhelmed... they believe they need all of New Zealand and the world to know who they are.

Now, thanks to the internet it's a lot easier to carve out a niche market for yourself. You just need to reach the people that are likely to join your tribe. And the number is a lot lower than most people realise... all you need is 2000 clients.

If you have 2000 clients and sell $500 worth of products and services to them each year... that's a million in sales. That's just $42 in sales to each one per month. Doesn't that sound attainable for almost every business?

Which is why fostering a relationship with your clients is so important. You need to be constantly putting your products and services in front of them... in a nice and helpful way of course.

So instead of chasing new clients all the time, work out how to keep adding quality clients to your business and then hold on to them for dear life. Your sales and profit will thank you for it.
