The power of follow up

Your clients and prospects are busy people... just like you. They have endless distractions during the day and unfortunately, many of them are going to forget all about you. That's why you need to have a simple system to collect prospect's contact details when they get in touch or visit your store. Then all you need to do is follow up with them.

The fact is, if they've got in touch with you, they probably want what you're selling. But at the same time they want a whole bunch of other stuff and you have to compete for that space in their mind with products and services that have nothing to do with yours. That's why you have to keep reminding your clients and prospects to buy from you or take the next step you desire.

Another powerful aspect of follow up is very few businesses do it... and especially do it well. Because it's not about hard-headed selling where you foam at the mouth for the sale. It's about providing value to your clients and prospects and building a relationship with them.

Following up with interested prospects is your responsibility. Otherwise, let's face it, they're probably going to go and waste their money somewhere else. If your business is truly offering value to its clients (and it should be) then it's your job to make sure they have every opportunity to get that value.

Anything else is hurting your prospects... and hurting your business. So implement follow up in your business right now.
