I'm all about creating a better life for business owners where they have more money and free time. Which is why this blog has three focuses:
Knowledge - If you own a business you already know a ton about what you do. But to lift your success to the next level you must become a great marketer and creator of systems.
Unfortunately, I don't believe enough business success gurus focus enough on sales and marketing. After all, if a business doesn't sell anything it's going to go out of business very quickly. While things like cashflow and staff management are important... they become very unimportant if you're not getting any sales.
When starting a business it's easy to assume that if you make a great product that people will talk about you and you'll have a steady stream of customers. The truth is you have to be really remarkable - worth remarking about - for this to happen. How often does someone brag about their local dry cleaners?
So you need to go out there and sell your products and services. And you need a marketing system to do this if you want to scale your results.
Mindset - To be honest, in our day and age, the knowledge is pretty easy to come across. We have access to international experts through the internet and global economy we live in. This is how I developed my marketing knowledge... by learning from the best.
But if the knowledge is there, why aren't a lot more people successful? The answer is mindset. It takes the right mindset to be successful and you'd be horrified if you knew all the things your brain was doing right now to keep you where you are.
Your brain has created a self-image of yourself and will subconsciously make you act in ways to keep you at the same level as your self-image dictates. You also have friends, family, and others around you that subconsciously want you to stay the same. This equates to a huge amount of influence to stop you from breaking away from the pack.
To be successful, you need to learn to ignore those voices of doubt and fear that come from well-meaning friends and your own mind. You have to break through your own inner barriers to success.
This is probably the hardest part of being successful and the reason most people aren't.
Action - Action is the last component of the tripod of success. Many people will gain the knowledge they require to be successful but will never put it into action. How many times have you heard someone tell you about a great idea they've had... only to see them do nothing with it.
But taking action isn't where it stops. You need to take action consistently until you get the result you want. It's no point pouring your heart and soul into a project for a year only to give up because you haven't had the fast results you expected.
Successful people fail time and time again before they see results. How you deal with this failure and whether you continue to take action will be a huge determinant to your future success.
If being successful was easy then everyone would be a millionaire and live their dreams. There's a reason it's hard... you have to show how much you want it. You have to prove to yourself and everyone around you that you deserve success.
When you're ready to put yourself on the line, overcome all obstacles, and clamber your way to the top no matter what happens... then you're going to be successful.
If that's you then I'll see you at the top.

Hi. I like the way you write. Will you post some more articles?
