What is an Automated Selling Machine?

I don't know about you but one of the things I love about the internet is how you can set up a website and have it make money for you over and over again. I call them Automated Selling Machines because they just sit there selling your products and services all day long. And it works whether you're an online or offline business owner.

Because it's not like a physical business location where someone has to be sitting in the store all day or even answering the phone. You can set up your website on autopilot and work when you want to work. Add to this the fact that we can reach a global market and I believe now is the easiest time to start or grow a business in history.

But there's one catch...

Your website must be a good salesperson. If it sucks none of your visitors will buy anything and it's a waste of time and money. But just like a regular salesperson you can train your website to be great.

And that's why website conversion is so important. Every extra little bit of conversion you can muster equals more people buying every day. A change you make once can mean thousands of dollars for your business.

Why most websites are not successful

Most website owners worry only about traffic. They play a numbers game and figure if enough people see their website then they'll get sales... which is partially true. But I believe it's a lot easier to get more sales from a small amount of traffic and then ramp up the operation.

If you focus on conversion first then the traffic you do get will make you a lot more sales. The second you stop treating the internet as a numbers game and focus on each visitor as a person your website's results will increase dramatically. But we'll talk about that more soon.
